Memorial or Honorarium Donation

One of the finest ways to remember a deceased friend or loved one is by making a memorial donation to your public library.  A book or donation to the library will benefit people throughout the community for years to come.

For a contribution of $15.00 or more, the library will order an appropriate book.  Gifts of less than $15.00 will be added to the library book fund.  Acknowledgment of this contribution will be mailed to anyone you designate.  A book plate, noting your name and the name of the remembered person will be placed in the front of each book purchased with your memorial donation.

Donations can be made in person or through the mail.  Download our Memorial Form below.

Please do not buy a book for the library and ask that it be used as a memorial.  We cannot use multiple copies of books, and we might have had an older title before and deleted it from the system. Our purchased books go through a selection process.  We want to make sure that memorial books are ones that will be used by the community for many years.

Fund Drive
The library conducts an annual Fund Drive to raise money for the library.  A mailed request is sent to residents of St. Marys.  Donations can be made at anytime throughout the year.

Adopt an Author
Support the library by insuring the availability of new books by popular authors.  In addition, you will be the first to read your favorite author’s new book.

The Adopt An Author program is also a gift idea for that “hard to buy for” person in your life.

Please contact the library for information on available authors.
